Everyone knows that Ram rocks, but it’s still nice to hear.
Automotive Fleet magazine holds a yearly voting process in which its readers – over 20,000 operators and owners of commercial truck fleets in North America – select which truck they like the best. Competition in the segment is always rough, but Automotive Fleet said the votes favored a clear winner by a landslide. The results are in, and this year, the Fleet Truck of the Year title went to the Ram 1500.
The Ram 1500 is no stranger to the honor, either. This is the second time in the past three years the truck has taken home the award. The 1500 succeeded in categories such as application effectiveness, durability, quality, servicing, maintenance, and lifestyle costs. Amazingly, the Ram 1500 was one of forty trucks contending for the award, but managed to pull into the number one spot regardless.
Bob Hegbloom, the head of the Ram Brand of FCA North America, commented on the win, “Receiving an award based on such an experienced audience truly gives Ram Truck more momentum and confirms we are delivering the features most important to business owners.”
