Unless you’re big into trucks or you happened to be in NYC for the New York International Auto Show, there’s a good chance you haven’t seen the 2014 RAM Power Wagon. We’re also willing to bet you don’t know the history behind RAM’s legendary heavy duty pickup line that started during WWII. Don’t worry, we here at Rochester Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM have you covered; just watch the video below. While that video takes care of both those problems, there is still so much to tell you about the 2014 RAM Power Wagon. It offers a rare combination of raw power and fuel economy. While we’re not saying it will be as efficient as a 2014 Dodge Dart it also won’t guzzle gas like previous models of the Power Wagon. “Capability is top of mind with heavy-duty pickup truck customers. RAM trucks are expected to work every day without breaking a sweat,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO-RAM Truck Brand, Chrysler Group LLC in a press release. “The 2014 RAM Power Wagon fills a need for those who travel into extreme terrain for rescue or recreation, while delivering on-road civility and the towing capability expected from a heavy-duty truck.” For those of you that look for power and performance, look no further. The 2014 RAM Power Wagon – according to autoblog.com – has a towing capacity of 10,810 pounds, can ford 30 inches of standing water and go over almost anything in its path with 14.5-inches of ground clearance.
