New York City is the known to many as “The City That Never Sleeps.” It is a very fitting nickname, especially around the time of the NY Auto Show. All eyes are on the Big Apple as automakers try to make a splash for the upcoming sales season.
Dodge is joining the ranks of those grabbing attention with one of their most popular models and the most-successful four-door muscle car in the world – the 2015 Dodge Charger.
Although not much is known about this version of the charger, according to a Chrysler press release the all-new charger has received an overhaul to the body design. Dodge designers decided to re-sculpt almost every panel of the Charger to give it a more sleek and modern look.
An autoblog.com article also speculates that the 2015 Dodge Charger might feature a similar powertrain as the 2015 Dodge Challenger, mainly a Hellcat V8 engine. If you haven’t heard already, the Hellcat V8 is expected to produce hp similar to that of the V10 found in the SRT Viper.
While a lot of this is yet to be confirmed and we’ll have to wait a few weeks for the 2015 Dodge Charger to be unveiled to know for sure on any of it, it is just the kind of excitement we love to see surrounding the Dodge brand as a Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealer.
