“Born Makers” Continues Chrysler’s Made in America Campaign

A new Chrysler commercial asks the question, “What is a born maker made from?” They then proceed to answer that question during their new commercial “Born Makers” with endearing characteristics of American fortitude such as callused hands, strong backs from small steps turned giant leaps.

The commercial is specifically for the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200, although the car itself isn’t mentioned until the end of the 1-minute spot. The idea is that Chrysler wants to evoke all the positive sentiment and national pride that comes with a sense of American ingenuity when people see their new car.

The “Born Makers” commercial “reminds us that it’s not just dreaming big ideas but also having the ingenuity and commitment to make them happen. It’s an homage to American innovation, serving as a reminder that you don’t have to cross an ocean for a car you’re proud to have in your driveway,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, Chrysler Group LLC in a Chrysler press release. “The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 embodies this ideal. It’s a perfectly timed coming together of people, resources and spirit of the Chrysler brand.”
