On top of the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) naming the 2013 Dodge Dart a Top Safety Pick, Chrysler Group September sales increased at an increment of 12 percent compared to 2011. Along with that, the 2013 Dodge Dart Aero has released statistics showing a rate of 41 miles per gallon in the 1.4 liter, turbo/intercooled 4-cylinder Fiat MultiAir engine. The engine pushes 184 lb-ft of torque along with 160 horspower to the front wheels.
With the forty one miles per gallon, the 2013 Dodge Dart Aero will be one of the three top most efficient non-hybrid cars in the American compact sedan class, with the Chevy Cruze Eco barely bettering the Dart by one mile per gallon, but the Dart is more powerful.
The 2012 Honda Civic HF is not as powerful and boasts the same amount of mpg. The 2013 Dodge Dart Aero will make its way to showrooms previous to 2013 along with the Dodge Dart R/T, joining the SE, SXT, Rallye and Limited models.
